What: The ZCenter will sponsor a series of events during the month of April. Volunteers are needed to hand out ribbons and flyers about the Sexual Assault and Abuse epidemic. Where: Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Hendrickson Room, 500 N. Dunton, Arlington Heights (at Euclid just west of Arlington Heights Road)
What: The meeting will update members on the progress of the state’s resolution to overturn Citizens United and the efforts to have the question put on the 2014 ballot. There will be a showing of Public Citizen’s short video on Citizens United v. FEC. The coalition has a main goal of educating the public and diversifying its membership, reaching out to colleges and universities in order to aid them in building their own chapters. These and other plans will be discussed. Come to the meeting, give your input, and be part of the non-partisan solution to take back our democracy.
