Events: League of Women Voters Forum in Deerfield

When: Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm

Where: Patty Turner Center, 375 Elm St., Deerfield

What: Candidates for the Deerfield Village Board of Trustees and the Deerfield Public School District 109 Board of Education will debate in a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters. Candidates will have an opportunity to outline their positions on the issues and answer questions submitted by the audience and asked through a moderator. The event is free and open to the public.

What: Lauren Beth Gash invites you to a special women’s luncheon honoring her good friend (in real life) and Tenth Dems vice-chair and Northfield Township Clerk (in political life) Karen McCormick. Karen is running for Township clerk along with an amazing group of Democratic women candidates (and a couple of men) including Carol Blustein, candidate for Supervisor, and Mary Reynolds, Joanne Hirschtritt Licht and Marla Miller, candidates for Trustee.

The April 9th election is coming soon and early voting starts March 25th. We hope you will come support the candidates and join us for great company and a delicious lunch of salad, appetizers and your choice of four entree options.
