What: Sunday is Sarah’s Circle’s Annual Winter Walk and help is needed to meet the group’s goal. You are invited to join them to walk a homeless mile through Uptown Chicago to increase awareness about homelessness and raise funds. Sarah’s Circle helps women rebuild their lives by obtaining medical care, social work, housing and more.

What: The Chicago Area Political Item Collectors Chapter invites you to their Winter Meeting which has a special focus on items relating to President John F. Kennedy. The event is family friendly; admission and parking are free. Trinity University is a smoke-free campus and school-age children are welcome. There will be a Door Prize Drawing at 2:30 pm.

What: The New Trier Democratic Organization (NTDO) Candidate Endorsement Meeting for the Mid-term Elections is open to NTDO members who will be eligible to vote if they live in New Trier Township and have paid NTDO dues within the 12 months before the Endorsement Meeting. Existing members can renew membership at the door or online before the meeting. If you are not now an NTDO member but wish to join, you will be eligible to vote at the meeting if you have paid your dues at least seven days before the Endorsement Meeting. Plan to arrive 30 minutes early in order to sign in and pick up your ballots.
