What: Joining a growing list of vendors at Waukegan’s ArtWauk, the monthly art event in Waukegan, the Tenth Congressional District Democrats is hosting an open house at its Community Connection office Saturday. Come visit the Community Connection, enjoy some refreshments and learn about how you can support our many exciting programs. We are very excited about our summer programming that works with a local community garden to bring vegetable gardening, cooking and canning classes to low-income residents. Starting at 5:00 pm. you can enjoy ArtWauk with a stroll around downtown Waukegan, visiting the many shops and vendors who will be participating. Don’t forget to stop and visit the Community Garden, located at 35 S. Genesee, to take in the view of our beautiful lakefront and Tenth Dems sponsored vegetable beds and native garden.
