What: Representative Carol Sente and Representative Elaine Nekritz are partnering with the Cook County Assessor’s Office to facilitate a free Property Tax Workshop for residents of Wheeling Township. During this event, representatives from the Cook County Assessor’s Office will be available to explain the residential property assessment and appeal process, as well as assist residents in appealing their property tax bills. The last day to file in Wheeling Township is August 14.

What: The Small Business Advocacy Council invites you to a day of golf, lunch, dinner and reception. Registration opens at 11:00 am and shotgun start begins at 12:00 pm. Prizes for golfers will be awarded and each player will receive a free golf club. Not a golfer? The “Day at the Club” package includes the pool and tennis courts, plus dinner.
