What: Rep. Sam Yingling (62nd Dist.) of Lake County, elected as Illinois’ first openly gay legislator outside of Chicago, will share his unique perspective in a conversation that will focus on shifting social attitudes and how having a seat at the table helped accomplish the marriage equality law in Illinois. The event is free and open to the public.
