Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration and Public Meeting
When: Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2:30 – 4:30 pm
Where: St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 8235 S. South Shore Dr., Chicago
What: IIRON (a network of multi-issue grassroots organizations) and The People’s Lobby invite you to join them for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration and Public Meeting. The theme is “Hope in an Age of Crisis: Reclaiming Dr. King’s Radical Vision of Economic Equality” and the purpose is to celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by carrying on his work.
