What: The Environmental Law and Policy Center invites you to learn about the draft permit issued by the Illinois EPA regarding the Waukegan Coal Plant. The draft fails to properly account for certain types of pollution that can harm people, aquatic life and water quality in Lake Michigan. Learn more about how these issues relate to you, your community and your environment from legal, technical and grassroots perspectives.

Ask the Illinois EPA to strengthen the Waukegan permit using this online action alert tool. Attend the public hearing on July 31st to voice your concerns in person. Share this message with your friends.
