What: This forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Lake County, the Lake County Bar Association, the American Association of University Women and the Daily Herald newspaper. Candidates for Lake County State’s Attorney, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Lake County Recorded of Deeds will participate. The event is free and open to the public.

What: This is the last meeting before the election. Discussion of the November 6 referendum, summary of the workshops, and efforts at building coalitions are on the agenda. Educating the public as to the negative effects on our society of the Citizens United decision, Super PACs and an activist Supreme Court is a priority.
