What: The agenda includes the election of the Coalicion Latino Unidos de Lake County (CLULC) Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. Paid members may vote and non-members are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $5 for paid members, and $7 for non-members.

What: You are invited to join the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence (ICHV) and its community partners across Illinois as they converge on the Illinois State Capitol to demand common sense gun laws. As Illinois prepares to allow the carrying of loaded weapons in public places, we must fight to make sure our state has the strongest laws in the country. There will be a rally at the capitol at noon and then afternoon meetings with legislators to gain their support. Make your voice heard on this important issue.
There will be buses going down to Springfield from all across Illinois so sign up today and ICHV representatives will send you more information about your location and details on the day. Please plan to be gone all day.
