Events: Libertyville Township Dems and Tenth Dems at Libertyville Days Festival Events

When: Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm

Where: Booth No. 38, near Cook Memorial Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville

What: Join the Libertyville Township Democrats, the Tenth Congressional District Democrats and the Re-elect Representative Brad Schneider Campaign and take part in our “Star Spangled Hometown” Libertyville Days Festival Events. Volunteers are needed to hand out information about Democratic candidates and encourage people to support and work toward achieving Democratic goals.

Sign up for 2 hour shifts, allow 10 minutes before the shift begins and 5 minutes after the shift ends to provide overlap during the booth’s operation. Events, TDU: TDU 242: Lake County Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Waukegan

When: Friday, June 13, 2014 at 3:00 pm

Where: Lake County Courthouse and Administrative Complex, 18 N. County St., 10th Floor Assembly Room, Waukegan

What: Tenth Dems is sponsoring volunteers to participate in training seminars for Lake County residents who want to become deputy voter registrars. The training sessions are conducted by the county clerk’s office, and once you complete the session you will officially be able to register others to vote.

You must be 18 years old and registered to vote in Lake County. Once you are trained to register voters in Lake County, you can register voters anywhere in Illinois.

Events: ZCenter Annual Community Luncheon “Good Things Happen in Sunlight”

When: Friday, June 13, 2014. Registration and Tours 11:00 am, Lunch and Program 12:00 pm

Where: Zacharias Center, 4275 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee

What: The ZCenter 13th Annual Community Luncheon “Good Things Happen in Sunlight” will have as keynote speaker the founder and President of Erin’s Law, Erin Merryn. The event includes tours, silent auction and gourmet picnic lunch.
