Rally to Confront Corruption and Demand Democracy

When: Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 8:00pm

Where:  Just south of the Tribune Tower, 400 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago

What:  Public Citizen and over 40 other organizations are sponsoring rallies and candlelight vigils nationwide against corruption and for democracy.  Speakers will be those most affected by this widespread corruption and dysfunction.  Each will be given two minutes to speak.

Protest Mike Pence in Illinois!

When: Friday, July 13, 2018 from 11:30am to 12:30pm

Where:  6100 N. River Road, Rosemont

What: Hosted by Illinois Democratic Women.  Let Mike Pence know that his politics are not welcome here and that everything Democratic women in Illinois stand for he is against. Help send a message to Pence and the administration that he represents, that their hateful rhetoric and actions here in Illinois will not be tolerated.

An Evening with John Idleburg

Where:  The Vine, 101 Center St., Grayslake

What:  An opportunity to meet John Idleburg, candidate for Lake County Sheriff.  Spend an evening with his supporters and learn how to get involved with electing him.

Ed Gallagher for Lake County Board Campaign Kickoff

Where:  RJs Eatery, 1913 E. Grand Ave., Lindenhurst

What:  The kickoff to Democrat Ed Gallagher’s campaign for the Lake County Board 3rd District.  There will be light appetizers and a cash bar.

Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) Neighborhood Office Hours

When: Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 8:00am to 12:30pm

Where:  Buffalo Grove Farmers Market, 951 McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove

What: The office of Congressman Schneider will hold Neighborhood Office Hours for constituents to meet with caseworkers and staff to discuss any federal issues that they may have, including issues with Medicare, Social Security, the Veterans Administration, immigration and more.
