Remembering the Fallen on Memorial Day
On Memorial Day, Lake Dems remembered and paid tribute to those who gave their lives to protect democracy by participating in events across Lake County. With so much at stake in these trying times, we must remember what our fallen fought for. These patriots made the ultimate sacrifice, and if we truly want to honor them, we must continue to organize, take action, raise our voices, and work for democracy.
We hope you will enjoy the following photos taken at events in Grayslake, Lake Villa, and Wauconda. See more photos at the end of this newsletter.

A Great Way to Get Involved— Become a Deputy Voter Registrar
Looking for a great way to get involved? Become a Deputy Voter Registrar and help people register to vote anywhere in Illinois!
The next Deputy Voter Registrar training sessions are being scheduled and are open only to Lake County residents who are interested in helping register new voters. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and registered to vote in Lake County.
Deputy Registrars must be trained in the county where they live, but once trained, can register voters in any county in Illinois. Training takes about an hour and is offered by the Lake County Clerk’s office free of charge. If you’d like to help plan and organize Lake Dems’ voter registration efforts, contact us at info@lakedems.org.

There are more parades coming up! Watch the Lake Dems Events List for details. Come walk with us and show your Democratic spirit by wearing an official Lake County Democrats t-shirt or hat. Let us know if you want one by emailing info@lakedems.org.
