Lake Dems Petition Event: Lawyer Look-Over, Petition Turn-In, and Notary Party!
This Sunday, November 5, from 2-4pm, completed petitions or statements of candidacy, including petitions for Precinct Committeeperson, will be looked over by attorneys trained in election law, notarized, and turned in to the candidates or the Clerk’s office (for Precinct Committeeperson petitions). All in one place and free of charge! Petitions for Democratic candidates, including for President Biden, will be available. For questions, email info@lakedems.org.
And since we’re meeting at a great Mexican restaurant, feel free to get some food and chat a bit with other Democrats who have been through the petition process. Sometimes it’s just nice to share experiences and words of encouragement. We’ve been there before and we’re all in it together.
