Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA)
The ZBA holds public hearings to consider applications for zoning variances, delegated conditional use permits, and appeals of administration decisions. Both of these boards are critically important to local government and serve in an advisory capacity to the Lake County Board. Residents that serve on the HCDC and ZBA are appointed by the Lake County Board Chair with the advice and consent of the Lake County Board. They are terrific opportunities to work on local initiatives and issues while serving the community. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
