Services include renewal of licenses and IDs, corrections, new IDs, vision tests, and license plate stickers. (Real ID cannot be issued at this location.) Friday-Sunday, 8/13-8/15: Walk in the Libertyville Days Parade with Brad Schneider, Adriane Johnson, Dan Didech, and Jennifer Clark—and Help at the Libertyville Township Dems’ Booth. For the parade, gather on Saturday at the Libertyville Metra station at 9:30am for a 10am step-off. Booth is open Friday-Sunday for Libertyville Days, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

Thursday, 8/19: The Living Room Wellness Center Grand Reopening & Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony. Sponsored by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, and Independence Center, 11am to noon.

Democrats on the March Over the Weekend
Last weekend was a great time to march with or say hello to our Democratic officeholders. There were parades for Gurnee Days and North Chicago Community Days, and a fundraiser for Lake County Treasurer Holly Kim and State Representative Dan Didech.
