What: Tenth Dems holds its annual awards dinner. Keynote speaker: David Yepsen, Director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is the former chief political reporter at The Des Moines Register and was called “The King of the Iowa Caucuses” by The Washington Post. As U.S. Senator Paul Simon once said, “Every four years, the chief political reporter for The Des Moines Register becomes the most important reporter in the nation.”
