Documentary Screening, “Mikva! Democracy is a Verb”
When: Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. 5:00pm: Open Bar and Appetizer Reception; 6:00pm: Documentary screening.
Where: Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark Street, Chicago
What: Special screening of Emmy-nominated documentary, “Mikva! Democracy Is a Verb,” about the life and legend of the former U.S. Congressman, Federal Judge and White House Counsel Abner Mikva. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Director Bob Hercules, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Mikva Challenge students and special guests. Proceeds will go to Mikva Challenge.
