We want to show everyone — Democrats looking for their county party, independents in our area leaning toward us because of the values we stand for, and even those right-wing Republicans trying to take the country backward — what Lake Dems is all about.

Saturday, 9/18: Lake County Democrats’ Open House at ArtWauk in Waukegan. Lake County Democratic Headquarters, 118 N. Genesee St., Waukegan, 5-8pm. Volunteers needed.
Sunday, 9/19: Comfort Songs Fundraiser for Carissa Casbon. Independence Grove-North Pavilion, 16400 Buckley Road, Libertyville. 2-4pm. Music by Carissa and opera superstar Stacey Tappan.
Monday, 9/20: Lake County State’s Attorney Eric Rinehart’s National Hispanic Month Town Hall (English and Spanish). Waukegan High School Brookside, 2325 Brookside Ave., Waukegan. 7-8:30pm.
Tuesday, 9/21: Carroll Cup Golf Fundraiser. A golf outing supporting the re-election of State Representative Jonathan Carroll. Heritage Oaks Golf Course, 3535 Dundee Rd., Northbrook. Breakfast at 8:30am, shotgun start at 9am.
Wednesday, 9/22: Highwood Outdoor Reception for Representative Bob Morgan. Outdoor cocktail reception in support of State Representative Bob Morgan, featuring special guests Attorney General Kwame Raoul and House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch. 28 Mile Distilling Company, 454 Sheridan Rd., Highwood. 5-7pm.
Saturday, 9/25: Lake County Democratic Women (LCDW) Life is Art 2021 Fundraising Gala. Opening remarks expected from Governor JB Pritzker and First Lady MK Pritzker. Tempel Farms, 17000 W. Wadsworth Rd., Old Mill Creek, 5pm.
Monday, 9/27: Senator Julie Morrison Campaign Kickoff Reception. Italian Kitchen, 648 Deerfield Road, Deerfield. 5:30-7:30pm.
Thursday, 9/30: Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Deerfield. Deerfield Public Library, 920 Waukegan Rd., Deerfield. 6pm. Sign-ups taken up to 24 hours before the class starts.
