What: Tenth Dems and Lake County Democrats host an Open House at our office during Waukegan’s monthly ArtWauk art event. October’s theme is Zombie Wauk which is a celebration of the Zombie Art-Horror genre with many different events scheduled in downtown Waukegan. Wine, cheese and snacks will be available. Refreshments provided by State Representative Rita Mayfield.
ArtWauk is the monthly event in Waukegan that celebrates the city’s growing art community. It takes place the third Saturday evening of each month. Neighboring shops and vendors in the downtown lakefront area surrounding the historic Genesee Theatre stay open, creating a festive atmosphere. We have a great spot— the office is one-half block south of the Genesee Theater.
Volunteers are needed to help set up. They are needed to staff our office, greet voters coming in, and show attendees how to help elect Democrats in 2022. For more information or to volunteer, email info@lakedems.org.
