Peaceful Communities Event to Reduce Gun Violence in Glencoe

When: Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12:00 noon – 1:00pm
Where: Wyman Park on the west side of Green Bay Road between Park Avenue and Hazel Avenue.
What: As part of a Chicago-area effort to reduce gun violence, Peaceful Communities is holding an event in Glencoe that will begin with a brief prayer service led by Rabbi Bruce Elder of Congregation Hakafa followed by a store-to-store walk asking businesses to post signs telling people not to carry guns inside.
