Cook County Commission on Women’s Issues Public Hearing

Where: Cook County Building, 4th Flr. Conference Room, 118 N. Clark St., Chicago
What: The 2014 Cook County Commission on Women’s Issues will hold a public hearing on “The New Stay-At-Home Mother,” referring to mothers charged with a non-violent crime who are allowed to stay at home with their children rather than be held in jail. The hearing will cover the implications of pre-trial jail detentions to the families of those who have been charged.
