Moving Equality Forward Free Celebration
When: Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm
Where: UAW Region 4 Hall, 680 Barclay Blvd., Lincolnshire
What: Come to this free event to help move the Equal Rights Amendment forward again – in Illinois. Invited guests and speakers include State Rep. Lou Lang, State Sen. Heather Steans, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Governor Pat Quinn, Congressman Brad Schneider, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Congresswoman Jackie Speier of California, Senator Dick Durbin, and Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland. Light desserts, coffee and tea will be available.
