Rally in Chicago on Equal Pay for Equal Work Day

Where: Daley Center Plaza, Clark and Washington, Chicago

What April 8th represents the day when a woman’s wage catches up to a man’s wage for equal work from December 31st of the previous year: 99 days later! The Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and many additional supporting organizations invite you to take part in the rally. Scheduled speakers include Pat Quinn, Illinois Governor; Sheila Simon, Illinois Lt. Governor; and Toni Preckwinkle, President, Cook County Board of Commissioners. Lourdes Duarte, WGN News Anchor will host.
