Rep. Laura Fine Announces Medicare Advantage Seminars in Glenview
When: Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 9:30 am or 1:30 pm (same information will be presented at each session)
Where: The Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Ct., Glenview
What: The State has made changes to the healthcare coverage of state retirees who are in the Teachers’ Retirement Insurance Program (TRIP), the College Insurance Program (CIP), and the State Insurance Program. These retirees will have to decide whether to enroll in the state’s new Medicare Advantage plan or purchase their own healthcare coverage.
In response to many concerns about these plans and to explain the new changes, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is hosting these seminars.
