What: Move to Amend – Greater Chicago North invites you to “Money, Politics and Democracy,” a presentation by Jack Altschuler which is focused on the influx of enormous sums of money into politics. In the presentation, you will explore the Supreme Court decisions that have allowed this to happen and the corrosive effect that has on democracy and will learn about efforts to bring better balance to campaign financing and to democracy. The issue is not a matter of party affiliation but is strictly a nonpartisan conversation.
