What: The Arts Committee for Marriage Equality, Intelligentsia Coffee Roasters and Logan Theatre invite you to attend the Chicago premier of the award-winning film, “The New Black.” The documentary uncovers the complicated histories of the African-American and LGBT civil rights movements. The panel discussion will feature Yvonne Welbon, the producer of the film, and special guests. The Red Carpet Reception will be held with the panelists prior to the showing of the film.
