Annual Des Plaines River Clean Up Day in Cook and Lake Counties

When: Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 9:30 am

Where: Allison Woods, Ryerson Woods, Des Plaines River (meeting locations below)

What: Illinois Water TrailKeepers is holding the 3rd Annual Clean Up of Des Plaines River to clear waterways and clean up trash found in and along the shoreline. Breakfast, snacks and all supplies are provided.

Locations are Allison Woods, Forest Preserve District of Cook County, west side of Milwaukee Ave., between Lake Ave. and Palatine Rd., Northbrook; On-water clean-up for Paddling Club members and other highly experienced paddlers; and Ryerson Woods to Cahokia Woods, Forest Preserve District of Lake County, meet at Riverwoods Village Hall, 300 Portwine Rd.
