What: The 2013 State of the State will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the Presidential and Municipal Suffrage Act in 1913. A panel of women who hold elected office in Illinois will share their perspectives on running for office, why women’s votes matter, and why women’s political leadership is important.
