Sandy Hook Six-Month Anniversary Vigil

When: Friday, June 14, 2013 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm

Where: Palatine Metra Train Station, 137 W. Wood St., Palatine

What: A vigil to commemorate the six-month anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings will be held by Newtown Action Alliance in partnership with People for a Safer Society, Citizens for Safer Communities, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Women’s Resource Center, Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action, Lake/McHenry Organizing for Action, Palatine Township Democrats, Northwest Suburban Women Democrats, and Common Sense Reform, among others. The event will go forward rain or shine. Free parking in commuter lots or adjacent garage.
