A Celebration of 100 Years of Women’s Suffrage in Illinois

Where: Glencoe Historical Society, 375 Park Ave., Glencoe
What: Women gained the right to vote in Illinois on June 26, 1913. Please join the Glencoe League of Women Voters and the Glencoe Historical Society for this event. Eileen Vorbach from WomenLore will be portraying Elizabeth Cady Stanton, a leading figure in the woman’s rights and suffrage movements.
Refreshments will be served. The event is free. Please RSVP by email by June 23, 2013.
