What: The National Campaign to End Corporate Personhood and Demand Real Democracy will mark the 127th anniversary of the Santa Clara v Southern Pacific Railroad case that was decided on May 10, 1886. Corporate lawyers claimed that corporations have rights under the 14th Amendment, and since then, there has been case after case in which the Court expanded the Constitutional “rights” of corporations. Move to Amend members invite you to take part in a local demonstration.
