Community Connection Announces the Community Garden Project, Needs Volunteers

When: Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Where: The Community Connection, 118 N. Genesee St., Waukegan

What: The Community Garden Project will encompass growing and harvesting the food to be used in economical and nutritional meals as part of our healthy cooking classes for local families. We need mentors, gardeners, cooks and nutritionists, and are seeking donations of gardening and cooking tools. We need lots of volunteers to help with planning, collecting tools and much more.
