Community Shred Day in Waukegan
When: Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: 100 N. Sheridan Rd., City of Waukegan Parking Lot D, corner of Sheridan and Clayton Street, Waukegan
What: State Rep. Rita Mayfield invites residents to protect against identity theft by bringing their documents containing personal information to be shredded. Co-sponsors are AT&T, Waukegan Main Street and the City of Waukegan. Examples of items that should be shredded are old tax returns, old bank statements, old bills, outdated medical records, pay stubs and receipts. The event is free and open to the public.
