Governor Pat Quinn has established the Mortgage Relief Project to help homeowners with mortgage and foreclosure problems. This outreach event hosted by State Representatives Carol Sente and Rita Mayfield will provide free counseling to those who register and attend. Sessions are available in English and in Spanish. Be sure to access the website for a list of documents you would need to take if you qualify to make application for a loan modification.
