Move to Amend to Attend Avon Township Meeting in Round Lake

Location: Avon Township Center, 433 E. Washington St., Round Lake

Move to Amend is urging registered Avon Township voters to attend this meeting in order to get the advisory referendum (below) on the November ballot:

We, the undersigned registered voters of Avon Township, respectfully request the topic of a non-binding referendum be added to the agenda of the April 10, 2012, annual town hall meeting of Avon Township.

The referendum that we propose to be on the November Avon Township ballot will state the following [questions]:

Should the United States Constitution be amended to limit the use of corporate, special interest, and private money in any political activity, including influencing the election of any candidate for public office?
