Annual Chicago River Clean-Up Event in Highland Park

Date: Saturday, May 12, 2012

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Location: Participants should meet at one of these locations at 9:00 am before moving to a clean-up site. 1) Target store parking lot, 2099 Skokie Valley Road or 2) Highland Park Police training facility parking lot, 1180 Half Day Road.

The Highland Park Natural Resources Commission and the Park District of Highland Park invite the public to join with the Friends of the Chicago River in the annual Chicago River clean-up. Participants ages 8 and up are welcome; however, children under 13 should be accompanies by an adult. Work clothes, gloves and boots are recommended.
