Rally in Chicago for a National Day of Action

Date: Thursday, November 17, 2011

Time: 5:30 pm

Location: Protestors coming in by Metra trains from northern suburbs will meet up with Occupy Chicago and other groups at LaSalle St. and Jackson Blvd. in Chicago.

Contact: For more information, including suggestions for quotations to use for signs, call Sharon Sanders at 312-371-5405 or send an email, or call Jeanne Marie Dauray at 224-338-8205 or send an email.

You are invited to join Tenth MoveOn, Progressive Democrats of America, and other groups in a National Day of Action in support of Occupy Wall Street, the 99%, and Move to Amend to overturn Citizens United. Protestors will leave from Grayslake (3:48 Metra train), Libertyville (4:10 train), Lake Cook (4:29 train), and Northbrook (4:32 train). These trains arrive at Union Station at 5:10, in time for the 5:30 rally. Signs will be provided for you.

In addition, the organizers ask that people not going downtown rally instead at each station 30 minutes before the train comes. If you will bring posters saying “Overturn Citizens United,” “End Corporate Personhood,” or “Move the Money,” those on the train will see what is being protested.
