“Roll Beyond Coal” Bike Ride and Rally for Clean Energy in Chicago

Location: The march and rally near Dvorak Park, 1119 W.Cullerton St., in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, starts at 12:30 pm

Citizens from all over Chicago will unite on the International Day of Climate Action to call for solutions to the climate crisis, an end to toxic pollution from the Fisk and Crawford Coal Plants in Chicago, and a transition to clean energy and jobs. The Environmental Law & Policy Center is participating as a member group of the Chicago Clean Power Coalition. We hope you’ll consider joining us.

Join us for a special evening to help children attend the Waukegan Public Library performance of the annual “Ray Bradbury Storytelling Festival.” Your $5 donation at the door will help keep the price of the matinee ticket low. Come early for dinner (optional for purchase), then stay for a bilingual storytelling performance with Jasmin Cardenas at 7:30 followed by finger guitarist Jeremy DeJesus at 8:00 pm.
