Join the National Jobs with Justice Network for a National Day of Action for Jobs in Chicago! The demonstration is outside the Chicago office of the Illinois Republican Party, whose candidate for the U.S. Senate, 10th District Republican Congressman Mark Kirk, has voted repeated against unemployment benefits and most recently flip-flopped on a commitment to support federal funding for teacher jobs and voted against the measure just one day after he said he would support it.
