Garden Walk in Glencoe Supports Prevention of Suicide

Time: Check in 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., Walk until 11:00 a.m., Reception and closing ceremony 11:00 a.m. – noon

Location: Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe (near North Line Metra Braeside station)

Join this “Out of Darkness” walk and help raise awareness about suicide, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood conditions. Registration is free and leaves the afternoon open to explore the garden without charge from noon on. Parking for walkers is free.

Online registration closes on September 24 at 11:45 p.m. but registration in person is available on the day of the event. Proceeds will help the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention raise funds for research and outreach.
