Documentary Film: “How to Die in Oregon”

What: Final Options Illinois presents a screening of “How to Die in Oregon,” a documentary that follows several terminally ill Oregon residents who take advantage of the state’s Death With Dignity Act.  The law legalizes physician aid-in-dying with certain restrictions, permitting some terminally ill patients to determine the time of their own death.  The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.  Discussion follows.
