Sen. Julie Morrison Sponsors Sensible Gun Legislation

A recent court decision upheld Highland Park’s ban on assault weapons.  With the prompting of Highland Park’s Mayor, Nancy Rotering, Sen. Morrison has introduced legislation that would allow other municipalities to regulate these dangerous weapons. Read more inside, including Mayor Rotering’s statement on page 3.
