Chicago Area Political Items Collectors Winter Meeting

When: Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 12:00 – 2:30 pm

Where: TRAX Tavern and Grill, 833 Deerfield Rd., Deerfield

What: The Chicago Area Political Items Collectors (CAPIC) invite you to attend their Fall Meeting.The Bourse is open from noon until 2:30, with the door prize drawing at 2:15. Members will offer political memorabilia from current, recent, and middle to late 19th Century campaigns; buttons, posters, bumper stickers, for trade or sale. At 2:30, the Bourse will close but you are invited to stay for their hospitality hour (pizza and soft drinks).

This event is free and open to the public.

Fifth Anniversary of Citizens United Decision: Rally in Federal Plaza

When: Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00 am

Where: Federal Plaza, Dearborn St. between Adams St. and Jackson Blvd., Chicago

What: Join the the Rally to Get Money Out to mark the 5th anniversary of the Citizens United decision. Do not stop fighting to overturn the decision and give the country back to the people.

Mental Health America of Illinois Super Bowl-a-Thon Fundraiser

When: Saturday, 31, 2015 from 9:00 pm – 3:00 am

Where: Timber Lanes, 1851 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago

What: Join Mental Health America of Illinois’s Junior Board for a night of bowling and fun to raise funds for Youth Screen. Three time slots: Early Birds, 9:00 – 11:00 pm; Turkeys, 11:pm – 1:00 am; Night Owls, 1:00 – 3:00 am.

Click here to register as an individual or as a team (maximum 5 people per team). $50 per person includes 2 hours of bowling, open wine and beer bar, ahoe rental, and free pizza.
