Tenth Dems, Move to Amend Chicago North Suburbs, Progressive Democrats of America, Common Cause Illinois and Democracy in Action Chicago invite you to Prof. Stone’s discussion of the first amendment and the impact of Citizens United v. FEC (Federal Election Commission) on our democracy and what we can do to change the direction our country is headed.

The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and if the capacity of the room is reached, priority will be given to those who have preregistered.

North Chicago/LEARN Charter School Bus Trip to Chicago

LEARN is a network of college prep elementary schools serving 2,000 students across five campuses in Chicago in grades pre-Kindergarten to 8th. It supports this bus trip for District 187 student families to observe the charter school learning experience. Participants will have a light breakfast, tour a school and observe lab rooms, then have a question and answer session with administrators and teachers.
