One Nation, One Dream Summit for Immigrant Integration: Education is Power! will be the focus of the meetings. The Summit begins with a plenary session at 9:00 am with Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. Workshops take place between 9:30 am and noon and are free to the public.
A closing session at noon includes all members and allies. Confirmed speakers include Congressman Luis Gutierrez, House Speaker Michael Madigan, and Assistant House Majority Leader Eddie Acevedo.
