06/04/2023: BG Pride and the Pinta Pride Project Parade in Buffalo Grove

Where: Buffalo Grove Road and Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove

What: BG Pride and The Pinta Pride Project sponsor Buffalo Grove's 5th Annual Family Friendly Pride Parade with the theme, "The Magic of Pride." Lake Dems has a spot in the parade, and you're welcome to walk with us. 06/21/2023: Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Libertyville

When:  Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 10:00am

Where: Lake County Central Permit Facility, 2nd Floor Conf. Room, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville

What:  Lake Dems is sponsoring volunteers to become Deputy Voter Registrars. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and registered to vote in Lake County. The event is open only to Lake County residents who are interested in helping to register new voters. Deputy Registrars must be trained in the county in which they live, but once trained, can register voters anywhere in Illinois. Training takes about an hour.
This training is being held through the County Clerk’s office and is free of charge. Sign-ups will be taken up to 24 hours before the class starts. Late sign-ups may or may not be added to the class.  Register online. If you’re interested in helping organize voter registration, contact Lake Dems at info@lakedems.org.
