Where: Westin North Shore Hotel, River Ballroom, 601 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling.  Free parking.

What: Lake County NAACP holds its 3rd Annual Freedom Fund Gala, with the theme: “Moving Forward with Powerful Voting.” Keynote speaker: Kevin Myles, Deputy Director of Programs and Strategy, Southern Poverty Law Center. For tickets, call 847-445-9438 or 224-627-0196.
