Help Wanted: Voter Registration Organizers

We’re organizing voter registration drives all over the county as the 2022 campaign heats up. This is crucial work, and we’re looking for volunteers in several areas, including:

  • Working with schools, colleges, and other facilities to arrange registration drives
  • Scheduling Deputy Voter Registrars to ensure a minimum of two Registrars at each site
  • Delivering registration materials and other supplies to sites
  • Keeping our list of Registrar contacts up to date
  • Recruiting voter registration volunteers

Please respond to this email if you can take on one or more of these key roles. Thank you to all our amazing Deputy Voter Registrars for doing your part for democracy.

Lake County Is Hiring Election Judges

Volunteer Spotlight

Lake Dems is grateful for our many active volunteers, including the following:

Victoria Ratnaswamy is one of our top Deputy Voter Registrars—signing voters up week after week at farmers markets, high schools, the College of Lake County, and sometimes even in potential voters’ driveways. Starting with Early Voting, and continuing through every Election Day, Victoria also serves as a Democratic Election Judge. A resident of Highland Park, her reliability and enthusiasm for helping with voter registration and elections are an inspiration.
