Supreme Court Nominee Shows Elections Matter

We’re so proud of our own Senator Dick Durbin, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, who is presiding over the historic confirmation hearing of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Senator Durbin said Judge Jackson is “a living witness to the fact that in America, all is possible.”

If confirmed, she will be the first African-American woman on the Supreme Court in our nation’s history. We put in the work and elected Joe Biden as our President, and he nominated Judge Jackson to be the next Justice of our nation’s highest court. Now our Democratic Senate is on the verge of creating historic results too.

Elections matter.
